Achievements come to those who work hard.”

Mr. Alec explains that “While teaching, an example of a memorable experience [he has] is when [he] sees [his] students are able to learn a complicated technique. This makes [him] feel content because [he] knows that the thought process they applied to learning this challenging technique can be applied to any other goal in their life. As martial arts instructors, we are not just teaching techniques, we are teaching life skills that include problem-solving and perseverance. These experiences also help [him] grow as an individual because having students who listen to [his] advice helps motivate [him] to live [his] life by a higher standard.”
